ABOUT US
Our corporate ambition is to be a vital leader in resource management for youth and families impacted by homelessness, mental health challenges, and addiction. Through the distribution of quality living essentials and the implementation of curriculum-based programs, we will employ prevention and intervention measures that fill poverty gaps and promote psychological wellness in urban communities.
OUR COMMUNITY
We welcome strategic partnerships that support our mission-critical objectives. The Harvest Center and its founder, Dr. Sylvia Huntley-McCree believe that successfully addressing the socio-economic issues of a community requires a multi-pronged approach. In response to this fact, the organization participates in activities that span from outreach-oriented efforts to complex clinical solutions.
WHO WE SERVE
At The Harvest Center, we recognize that underserved communities are comprised of individual people and that each person has unique needs and interests. Therefore, while we work diligently on macro-level community solutions, we also strive to provide micro-level solutions that promote poverty reduction and stable mental health. Cognitive, behavioral, and physical abilities can be adversely impacted by poor economic status, compromised mental health, and addiction. We prioritize these communities to help them exercise healthy choices, and reach positive outcomes one step at a time.
